3. Permissions We Request

We only request permissions that are necessary for core functionality. You may deny optional permissions; however, this may limit certain features.

We use your information to:

Process bookings — matching you with available equipment, scheduling, delivery coordination
Complete payments — processing rental fees and refundable security deposits via Razorpay
KYC verification — verifying your identity and PAN/GSTIN for compliance with Indian regulations
Communicate with you — booking confirmations, status updates, invoices via SMS/email
Improve our platform — analysing usage patterns to improve the App
Legal compliance — maintaining records required under Indian tax and commercial laws
Fraud prevention — detecting and preventing fraudulent bookings

We do not use your information for advertising to third parties.

We share data with trusted service providers who help us operate the App:

No raw card storage — Payment card data is handled entirely by Razorpay; we never store raw card numbers

Despite these measures, no system is completely secure. We encourage you to protect your account by not sharing your OTP with anyone.

8. Your Rights

Under applicable Indian law (IT Act 2000 and DPDP Act 2023), you have the right to:

Access — Request a copy of the personal data we hold about you
Correction — Update or correct inaccurate information via the app's "Edit Profile" screen
Deletion — Request deletion of your account and associated personal data (subject to legal retention obligations)
Withdrawal of consent — Withdraw consent for data processing (this may affect your ability to use the App)
